Who can contribute?
Anyone. Feel free to add/update existing pages (like this one: LambdaMOO), or create a new page, for example, a page for your past or present MOO character. Information on adding pages can be found at MediaWiki, but in gist you can create any new URL and start editing... just replace NEW_PAGE_TITLE here: http://moopedia.org/wiki/index.php?title=NEW_PAGE_TITLE
Some thoughts on structure
- Taking a page from Memory Alpha, it might be best for pages to be in past tense, even pages about currently-existing objects. This would help alleviate necessity to distinguish MOO past from present. Though, current MOO installs seem to be an exception.
- When creating character pages, having a section about the real-life counterpart is encouraged. Links could be revealed between real-life people established via their connections on the MOO.
What about MUDs?
MOO is generally consistent across installs, yet broad enough to encompass signifigant digital culture. Expanded to all MUDs and their derivatives would be messy...
